NEW ZEALAND BETA TESTING
We’re selecting a small group of New Zealand golfers to test PacePoint Pro—the fast, map-free green-reading routine designed to give everyday golfers a clear recommended aim point in under 10 seconds. You do not need to be a low-handicap golfer or particularly technical. We need honest feedback from golfers who sometimes second-guess their reads.

WHAT IS PACEPOINT PRO?
Most golfers can see or feel that a putt will break. The difficult part is deciding how far outside the hole to aim. PacePoint Pro turns three simple inputs into one clear recommended aim point, helping the golfer move from uncertainty to commitment.
01 — READ THE SLOPE
Read the slope
Choose a simple slope percentage.
02 — PACE THE PUTT
Pace the putt
Enter the distance using your natural paces.
03 — SET THE DIRECTION
Set the direction
Use the clock face to show the direction of the putt.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Real Golfers. Honest Feedback.
We are building a balanced New Zealand testing group rather than selecting only the lowest handicaps or most technical golfers.
You do not need to be a low-handicap golfer.
We particularly want to hear from everyday club and social golfers because they are the people PacePoint Pro is being built for.
• Based in New Zealand
• Plays golf at least twice per month
• Sometimes feels uncertain about the amount of break
• Can test on a practice green and during social play
• Has a compatible smartphone
• Is willing to report both positive and negative experiences
• Can complete testing by 11 October
• Is willing to join a short final feedback conversation
WHY THIS BETA EXISTS
What We Need to Learn on Real Greens
This is not a demonstration where testers are expected to say positive things. Honest criticism is essential. Your feedback will directly influence product refinements, onboarding and launch priorities.
Ease of use
• Is the app easy to understand?
• Can it be used in under 10 seconds?
• Is it comfortable with one hand?
• Is the screen readable outdoors?
On-green behaviour
Does using a phone feel natural on the green? We need to understand whether taking out a phone feels comfortable, discreet and socially acceptable—and when golfers choose not to use it.
• Does it fit naturally into play?
• Does it affect pace of play?
• When do golfers decide not to use it?
Confidence and trust
• When does it increase confidence?
• When does it create friction?
• Do golfers trust the recommended aim point?
• Would they use PacePoint Pro again?
Help Shape What Comes Next
Complimentary access throughout the beta and following public launch. Direct contact with the PacePoint Pro team during testing, early access to product refinements, an optional Founding Tester acknowledgement, and first consideration for future device and watch testing.

NEW ZEALAND BETA FAQ
Everything you need to know before you begin.
Is the beta open to everyone?
Applications are open to New Zealand-based golfers who can complete the testing requirements by 11 October. Places are limited, and applicants will be selected to create a balanced group.
Do I need to be a low-handicap golfer?
No. PacePoint Pro is primarily being developed for everyday club and social golfers.
How much time will testing require?
Testing takes place alongside your normal practice and social golf. Participants must complete at least four rounds or structured testing sessions, four short check-ins, onboarding and a final conversation.
When does the beta start?
Selected testers can begin as soon as onboarding is complete. There is no single compulsory start date, but all testing and final feedback must be completed by Sunday, 11 October 2026.
Do I need to understand slope percentages already?
No. The onboarding process introduces the basic inputs and PacePoint routine.
Can I use PacePoint Pro in a competition?
This beta is intended for practice greens and social play. PacePoint Pro’s competition status is being formally assessed. Golfers must always follow the Rules of Golf and applicable Local Rules.
Will the app work on my phone?
The application form asks for your phone details so compatibility can be checked before selection.
Will I be paid?
This is an unpaid product-testing programme. Selected testers receive complimentary beta access, complimentary access following public launch and the other stated tester benefits.
What happens to my feedback?
Feedback will be used to improve the product, onboarding and future release priorities. PacePoint Pro will request separate permission before using a tester’s identity, comments, image or results in marketing.
What happens after I apply?
Applications close on 30 August 2026. Suitable applicants will be contacted directly by Linda and can begin after onboarding.
Do I have to use my phone on the green?
The beta is testing the current mobile experience, so selected participants must be willing to use their phone briefly on a practice green and during agreed social-play sessions. We specifically want to learn whether this feels natural, discreet and comfortable during play.
Will using PacePoint Pro slow down play?
PacePoint Pro is designed to provide a recommended aim point in under 10 seconds, but the beta needs to test that in real conditions. Participants will be asked to report when the app feels fast, when it causes delay and when they decide not to use it.
What if I feel uncomfortable taking out my phone?
Tell us. That is valuable feedback. We want to understand concerns about etiquette, distraction, pace of play and other golfers’ reactions. Participants are not expected to use the app where doing so feels inappropriate or disrupts the group.
Can I test only on a practice green?
Practice-green testing is required, but the programme also needs agreed social-play testing so we can understand how PacePoint Pro performs during a normal round. Competition use is not part of this beta.
